Notice of Job Opening: 

The McIntosh County Board of Commissioners’ Office is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Utility-Finance Clerk. This is a customer service position and deals with the public. This position is responsible for administrative tasks associated with water payments, water billing, opening new water accounts, golf cart permits, business license and cash receipts. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, and possess good communication and customer service skills.  All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screen.  The minimum starting rate for this position is $15.66. Applications may be obtained at the McIntosh County Commissioners’ office, 1200 Northway, Darien, GA 31305 (Mon-Fri, 8:00-4:30).  Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2025 or the position is filled.
